Appalachian gothic serial
Some things in these mountains have names.
Salt&Bone gathers folktales, cryptid sightings, and restless ghosts whose true nature stays unresolved, told the way they are carried down from the hollers.
The series
Stories that change each time they are told
Salt&Bone is serial gothic horror rooted in Appalachian oral tradition. Family histories, passed hand to hand, shift a little with every teller, and the creatures they describe are never fully explained.
Each thread follows folktales, recorded cryptid encounters, and ghosts that resist easy answers, so the reader is left to decide what was seen on the ridge.
